Complaint:
The driver got to the police and parked behind a truck transporting charcoal. After some minutes, One police officer signaled him to move forward. The moment he started moving, another officer shouted on him saying he wanted to cause accident. Therefore, they took his papers asked him to pay GH 100.00.When the driver said he did not have money, the officers drove away with his papers without telling him where exactly they were going.

Complaint:
On Saturday, 27th September 2018, 15 trucks were delayed at Techiman due to the closure of Bamboe bridge. The drivers did well to report to the Techiman Customs who assured them that of easy crossing since it was not their fault. At their arrival at the border (Hamile), they were asked to pay GH 1000.00 for each extra day.

Complaint:
The driver coming back from Burkina Faso empty was stopped by the Police and asked to provide his documents. He did, but the Police kept the papers and asked for money. The diver gave them GH 1.00 but they refused to take it.

Complaint:
A driver whose truck got broken down Thursday evening called a mechanic to fix the truck on Friday morning. In the course repairing the truck, the Police came to tow the vehicle to a distance less than one kilometer and collected the driver's papers.
After repairing the truck, the driver went to the police to retrieve his papers but the Police was asking him to GH 1000.00.
Resolution status note:
On Wednesday 24th the driver was released but after paying GH 600.00 as fine at Techiman Court.
GSA staff asked the driver to provide him the proof of payment at his arrival for further followup o the matter.

Complaint:
On the February, 2nd 2019, the driver got puncher and reported to Customs office near the Kumasi weighbridge. There, he was given a paper to go to their Head office where another paper was printed and attached to his documents. He was asked to come back on Monday because their office is not open on Sunday.
The driver went back to the office on Monday to tell them that the truck is ready to move. But the Customs officers refused to go and inspect the truck because the driver didn't pay money.
On Tuesday the Customs made two officers (ladies) follow the driver inspection of the truck after collecyting GH 50.00 from him. After the inspection, the driver was askd to back to the Head office to retrieve his documents. Upon his arrival at the Head office, the officers there also required GH 200.00, later reduced to GH 150.00 then to GH 100.00 before they release the documents.

The driver got to the weigh bridge and was asked to climb and weigh. Accidentally, in the course of doing this the truck dragged the pad and caused a cable to tear.
