The driver got to the police and parked behind a truck transporting charcoal. After some minutes, One police officer signaled him to move forward. The moment he started moving, another officer shouted on him saying he wanted to cause accident. Therefore, they took his papers asked him to pay GH 100.00.When the driver said he did not have money, the officers drove away with his papers without telling him where exactly they were going.

Upon hearing this, GSA staff asked the driver to go to the nearest police station and find out whether he would see the said officer there.
The driver went to the police station, found the officer in question but the latter refused to talk to GSA staff. A certain Sergent Emmanuel Osei took the phone and explained to GSA staff that they will see to it that the driver is released.
After about one and half hours, GSQ staff called back to find out if the driver has been released but no, he was still there. GSA staff then asked to speak to Commander. After few minutes, an office who presented himself as the station officer told GSA staff that driver should go back the checkpoint to collect his papers and leave without paying any money.
