Complaint: The Police stopped 4 empty tankers and asked to pay money. When the drivers said they did not have money, the Police seized their carte grise international and licences .

Complaint: The driver got to the Customs barrier and the back of his truck mistakenly hit the barrier which fell. The barrier didn't break but got bent. And the Customs were asking the driver to pay GH 500.00. Failure to do this, the driver was kept from Saturday, 30th November to Monday, 2nd December 2019.  
Resolution status note: After the intervention of the focal point person, the driver was released.

Complaint: The driver got to the checkpoint and was stopped by the Police. He stopped and provided his papers. ut the Police said he was trying to leave therefore they kept him for about an hour.  
Resolution status note: Five minutes later, GSA staff called to see if the officers would take the phone. the driver told him that he was released.

Complaint: The driver was going around the round about and another vehicle trying to overtake him from behind got stuck at the apprentice side of the truck. The Police came to the scene, snapped picture and ordered that the two vehicles be taken to their station. Upon reaching the station, the Police asked the truck driver, first to pay GH 1,000.00 which was later reduced to GH 500.00 for the testing of the truck. They later said that the drive would pay additional Gh 300.00 to them.  
Resolution status note: The driver was released on Tuesday, 3rd December 2019 after testing the truck.
