Complaint:	Two tanker drivers got to a police barrier at Yapei and was asked to pay GH 1.00 each, The drivers told the Police that the had kept long in Ghana therefore did not have any money on them. The police officer on duty seized their papers and later handcuffed the drivers. Two other tanker driver arrived on the scene and tried to plead for their colleagues. Unfortunately, the officer handcuffed them too. This caused about 25 tankers to stop at the scene and help their friends, thereby causing congestion around the checkpoint.
Resolution status note:	Due to the intervention of our focal person at the Police Head Quarters (Dr. Sasu Mensah), the drivers were released.

Complaint:	Two trucks which weighed under weight at Sawla (70t and 71t) got to Techiman and weighed 98 and 102t respectively. They were asked to pay a fine GH5,000.00 each. The drivers claimed their trucks were not overloaded thereby refused to pay the fine. They had been there since 19th June, 2021.
Resolution status note:	The trucks were released without any fine after a serious intervention of GSA.

According to the driver nothing happened to the barrier but the Police took his papers to their station and were intimidating him to pay some money if not they would put him behind the bars.

Complaint:	Six (6) trucks were stop by the Police and were found not having scale papers. The drivers said that the Police were asking for money whilst the Police said the drivers were not having their scale papers. Upon a check, GSA staff realized that the drivers wee having only the scale paper from the port.
Resolution status note:	The drivers did not return to the axle station but allowed to continue their journey.
