When reported, GSA requested to speak to the Police but they all with one accord refused to cooperate.
The persistence from GSA compelled one of the Officers to take the phone. The Officer claimed the drivers, being foreigners were into cabotage, that is moving from one point to another within Ghana; which is prohibited by the Inter-State Road Transit Convention of ECOWAS.
GSA inquired to know if the officer had checked the waybill to ascertain his claim and he said no. GSA then advised that the Officer should have checked before making any accusation.
GSA instructed the drivers to provide their waybills to the Police for check.
After checking the waybills, the drivers were released.
