- Progress update note

When called, GSA asked the driver to give the police few minutes.
About 10 minutes later GSA called to speak to the Police. The Police narrated exactly what the driver earlier told GSA.
GSA took the opportunity to explain the implications of delaying these drivers, clarifying that, that does not give driver any right to violate the country's laws. GSA however stressed that in the event where the issues are minor, the Police should advise the drivers and let them go.
GSA also assured the Police that they would factor the issue of the first aid box and its importance in their next sensitisation programme for Haulers of International Cargo.
