Complaint number: NTB-000-508
NTB Type: Other type: Police delay and extortion
Complaint: Police claimed there was a Customs doc missing from the docs presented by driver.
Status note: Few minutes after this interaction, the driver called to confirm his release.
Progress update note: When called, GSA with the permission of the police requested that the driver snaps the documents and send via WhatsApp. To this the Police agreed.

Upon receiving the documents, GSA realized that there was a Customs document stating all the items loaded on the truck.

GSA then explained to the Police that the goods were covered by the accompanying Customs document.

The Police then raised the issue of tracking device.

GSA explained to the police that goods from factories do not have the device fixed on their truck, except they load from the port.

GSA suggested to put their focal person at the Police Head Quarters to clarify their explanation to the Officers but the Police objected.
