The driver got to the barrier but crossed it before stopping. Due to that the police decided to delay him as a way of punishment.

Few moments after GSA's discussion with the Police, the driver called to confirm his release.

The Rep of the Burkina driver's union reported the incident to GSA. GSA got the concerned driver's number and called him.
After listening to the driver, GSA spoke to the Police asking what the issue was. The Police explained just as the driver did.
GSA then cautioned that due to time bound factor, the driver should be permitted to continue his journey. The Police Officer reported that they were about to release the driver before he brought the phone to them.
