One of the drivers reported the matter to GSA.
GSA interrogating the Police was told just as the drivers reported that some items were not found in the drivers' first aid boxes.
GSA enquired to know what the drivers must do, and the Police responded that they should go to Tamale township, buy the missing items and returned to the Police barrier.
GSA then asked the Officer if he was sure that the road traffic regulations demand what he was requesting the drivers to do. The Police responded "Yes".
However, just as GSA was about calling their focal point at the Police Head Quarters to seek their intervention, one of the drivers called to confirm their release.
