Complaint
The Accountant of CNUT went to Ecobank Tema to pay a cheque in their USD account but was requested to present an authorisation.  
Progress update note
CNUT reported the case to GSA.
GSA, seeking clarity from the account manager was told that a meeting had been planned where the case would discussed and a solution found to it. The account Manager promised to get back to GSA by close of day.

A follow-up by GSA from Ecobank (account manager) revealed that the Niger Shippers' Council could pay the cheque into their USD account. According to him, they have been instructed not to reject a cheque from the shippers' councils or the shipping lines.

GSA then instructed CNUT to go back and pay the cheque.
