Complaint number: NTB-000-473
NTB Type: Other type: Misunderstanding between driver and police
Complaint: The driver was in possession of a police declaration indicating the loss of his documents. Upon a check the police discovered that the driver had the laissez-passer but it had expired. This brought a little confusion between the 2 parties.
Status note: The driver was released.
Progress update note: The driver reported the case to GSA. GSA upon receiving the complaint interacted with the police explaining to them that truly the laissez-passer had expired reason why the driver opted for that approach to avoid embarrassment on the road. GSA then pleaded the police to consider the driver and assured to caution the driver on that practice.

Few minutes after this intervention, the driver called to confirm his release.
