Progress update note
One of the drivers called GSA early in the morning to announce their coming stating that they had had challenges with the Immigration Officers in the past. He also disclosed that the Burkina Shippers' Council (CBC) is aware of their coming, which GSA called to confirmed.

Upon reaching Navrongo the drivers were faced with the issue of paying money and reported to GSA.

GSA speaking to one of the officers explained that these were drivers coming to pick cars back home. GSA also reassured the Immigration with the confirmation got from CBC.
After this explanation from GSA, Immigration suggested that for any such movement, CBC contact the Ghanaian Embassy in Ouagadougou for the issuance of a "laissez-passer" with which the drivers could have a free passage.

GSA took note of the suggestion and relayed the information to CBC.

Few minuutes after this intervention, the drivers called to confirm their release.
