The drivers reported to be kept at a police barrier for hours, and were asked to pay GH 50 each. The police claimed that 2 of trucks had warned out tyres and 1 a cracked windscreen.
GSA enquired from the police what caused their detention for hours. The confirmed the incidents but denied asking for money.
GSA cautioned that the drivers be allowed to continue their journey considering the days given them to exit the country. The Police agreed to this.
