NTB Type: Other type: Unnecessary delay by the Police
Complaint: The truck driver's belongings got stolen and he duly reported to the police in Tema with the help of the representative of their union.

On his way back to Bobo, he was stopped by the police to whom he presented the extract from the police station. The Police claimed the driver had to go to Burkina Faso, have his documents done before he could continue his journey.
Progress update note: The driver reported the issue to GSA. GSA speaking to the Police was told that the driver was not cooperating with them. GSA then re-explained the incident to the Police.

GSA called the driver back after thirty (30) minutes and noticed the driver was not released. GSA then linked the driver to their focal point at the Police Head Quarters for his intervention.
The driver was released after this intervention.
