The driver drove from the port to Agona Konta with only scale paper from the port. According to the driver, the truck has 6 axles but weighed 90.20 right from the port.
Now he was stopped a police officer who requested for all the scales papers, which the driver was not able to provide.

The driver confided in GSA staff that the truck was overloaded right from the habour and that there were people who handled the axle load stations on their behalf.
GSA staff reported the incident to Mrs. Faustina Opong of the Ghana Highway Authority, and forwarded the driver and truck's detail to her.
