Two ghanaian trucks drivers got to the police checkpoint and asked to provide their papers which they did. But the police claimed their international licences were fake.
- Status note
-
The drivers were released few minutes after the intervention of GSA staff.
- Progress update note
-
GSA staff was told by the police that the drivers' licences are fake and moreover one of the drivers was misbehaving towards them by asking them if they were from the MTTD. That was reason they kept them at the checkpoint.
GSA staff explained to the officer that, for the driver to ask if they were from the MTTD was a write thing to do just to confirm that they were not in wrong hands. However, he told the police that he was going to advise the drivers on their conduct towards officers on the corridor.
