NTB Type: 8.4. Transport related corruption
Complaint: Five (5) trucks were stopped by the Police and after checking their papers were asked to pay GH 5.00 each.
Status note: About two minutes later, the driver called to confirm their release.
Progress update note: When called, GSA staff demanded to speak to the officers. The officer who received the phone refused to speak and cut the line. GSA staff called back and asked the driver to give the phone to another Officer. The latter took the phone and said that they are not worrying any driver. He continued by saying that they've kept the drivers because their attitude but denied asking them for money.
Here, GSA staff asked "which attitude"? The officer could not answer but gave the phone back to the driver.
