The driver was stopped by the Police and asked to provide his papers. The driver provided the papers; but the officer, seeing that there was no problem with the papers, demanded his warning triangle and extinguisher. These also the driver presented. After this the officer asked him to pay GH 5.00.

Upon hearing this, GSA staff asked to speak to the police. Carporal Emmanuel Amoako denied asking for money but told him that the driver was not on seat belt and that they've received a report of reckless driving from a certain Immigration Officer concerning the driver.
GSA staff suggested that the driver should be advised on the matter and allowed to continue his journey.
