The driver was stopped at a checkpoint and asked to pay GH 5.00. He told the police that he didn't have money and continued his way. But the police pursued him and stopped him. He was asked to follow them back to the checkpoint.

The police officer told GSA staff that the driver's mate was giving them GH 2.00 which they refused and the driver did not stop for checks.
GSA staff told the officer that the transit trucks are not in the first place supposed to be stopped, statement which was confirmed by the police officer. GSA staff asked him why then should the driver follow him back to the checkpoint? The officer replied that he would release the driver as soon as possible.
