Complaint

The drivers (5) were asked by the police to pay GH 5.00 each before they can continue their journey.

Two minutes later, the driver called back to confirm their release  

Progress update note

GSA staff speaking to one of the police officers was told that there was no problem with the papers. Why then were the drivers kept at the post, he asked the officer. The latter openly said: that is what they normally do; (they give GH 5.00).
GSA staff then asked the officer if that is a right thing to do. The officer could not respond. GSA admonished the officer to allow the drivers to go.
