Complaint

Due to the fault on the motorway's Axle Load, the driver couldn't weigh the truck. On his arrival at Nsawam, he weighed and had two (2) tons excess. He was therefore fined GH 200.00. Now when the driver got to Kumasi, the operator was asking him to pay another GH 200.00.  

Status note

As the Regional Coordinator said, after hearing the operator, he ordered that the driver should be released. So the driver called later to confirm his release  

Progress update note

Upon hearing this, GSA staff spoke to the operator saying that since it is the same system they are using, the fine should automatically reflect in his system with all the detail of the truck. The operator seemed not to understand GSA staff, therefore gave his Regional Coordinator's number.

GSA staff called the Regional Coordinator and related the issue as discussed with the operator. THe Regional Coordinator said he will call the operator and if the excess is only two (2) tons, he will ask the operator to release the driver.
