Complaint

Seven (7) trucks coming from Burkina to Takoradi were stopped and asked to pay GH 5.00 each even though there was no problem with their papers.

Two minutes later, the driver called to confirm their release  

Progress update note

Upon hearing one of the drivers, GSA staff spoke with the police. He Asked the police what the GH 5.00 were for? The officer admitted asking for the money but could not explain the reason the drivers should pay such money. GSA staff explained to the officer these kinds of attitude go a long way to render our corridor noncompetitive thus causing lost to the whole country. The officer promised to allow the drivers to continue their journey.
