Five drivers were stopped and after collecting their papers, the police asked them to follow them to their station. On their arrival they were told that the height of their trucks is more than 4,5 therefore they had to pay GH 200.00 each.

Speaking to Inspector Akwaboa, GSA staff explained to him how the free movement of goods and people is dear to the current government and asked him to join hands with GSA in promoting this agenda. After this conversation, Inspector Akwaboa asked the drivers to pay GH 200.00 each. upon hearing this, GSA staff called Mr. Adu Boahen from the police Head Quarters to seek his intervention.
Few minutes later, Mr. Boahen called GSA staff back and said that he had called the Commander in charge at Kumasi who confirmed to have received the papers from the drivers but knew nothing about the money issue
