Driver called focal point because he was asked to take a diversion. This was due to the weight of his truck (26T).  

Progress update note

Focal Point staff spoke to police and explained to him that awareness is still on-going on concerning weight restrictions along the corridor due to the weakness of some of our bridges. He therefore asked the police to allow the driver to continue his journey since the difference in weight was minimal
Driver was released later since the weight difference was minimal. The driver was adviced to remain within the required weight limit. No money was paid.
